The City of Fort Worth - Financial Management Services Department is seeking a qualified applicant to fill a Contract Compliance Specialist vacancy.
The successful candidate will perform a variety of duties administering, creating, monitoring and negotiating contracts to ensure goods and services provided as well as funds expended are in compliance with contract specifications; and will preform a variety of administrative, analytical and technical tasks in support of assigned areas of responsibility including the procurement of professional services contracts for the City of Fort Worth departments and operations.
Skills / Requirements
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance or a related field. Experience drafting, monitoring or auditing contracts; knowledge of contract laws and principles; knowledge of negotiations, and requests for proposals strongly desired.
MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred. Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) also preferred.
